High versus low back on Home Theater Chairs

I would like to get other peoples thoughts on high back verses low back home theater seating. I’m talking about real genuine move cinema seats, not the plush leather home theater recliners.
According to Home Theater Magazine the seating is a critical decision.
“Oddly enough, the first step in gleaning every last ounce of performance from your home theater may be choosing your chair.” (Design the Ultimate Home Theater- On a Budget : Mike Wood Vol.9 No.10 October, 2002)
So, with that in mind… Picture a dedicated home theater room.
The understanding is that the low back prevents ‘blurring’ of the audio, but the high back provides head and neck support. (By low back I am mean 36 to 38-inches tall, by high back I mean 42-44-inches tall).
The afore mentioned article says, “…we plan to outfit the new room with nonreclining, low-backed chairs…”
Your thoughts?
